DOTHAN:  Multiple Dothan Fire units responded to a report of a structure fire at Unifirst Corp located at 208 South Edgewood. The first unit on scene advised smoke visible. Battalion Chief Pete Webb has command.

Truck 1 has made entry and advised there was smoke in the building but no fire has been located. Firefighters are still searching the building for the fire.

Truck 1 has located a small fire in some cloth rags and firefighters are going to wet down the fire and make sure it was out.

Dothan Police responded along with an ambulance. The road the fire is located on is closed due to emergency equipment and supply line blocking the road.

Dothan Police have South Edgewood closed from Catalpa Avenue north to West Main Street. Multiple Dothan Fire Engines, Pilcher Ambulance, Dothan Fire Incident Support Unit, and Dothan Police are on the scene.

When I first arrived some smoke could be seen from the top of the building but it appears to have disappeared at this time.

Dothan Fire EMS-2, Assistant Commander of the Emergency Medical Division, is also on the scene.

Dothan Fire Battalion Chief Pete Webb is on the scene. At 7:01 PM the fireman inside have announced "under control". At this time Dothan Fire does not have an "all clear", meaning they have not been able to check the entire building to verify if anyone inside. As of 7:01 PM all is clear.
