The female let the window up, jumped in the driver seat and took off. It was not her vehicle.
Dothan Police chased the vehicle on Ross Clark Circle and then it turned south on Hodgesville Road.
As the vehicle passed Hagler Road and the sharp curve, the convertible vehicle left the right hand side of the road. The ditches are deep. The vehicle went into the ditch on the embankment for a few feet then back onto the roadway, landing on the roof.
Remember, the car is a convertible. The driver was self extricating and the officer assisted removing from the wreckage.
