DOTHAN:      06:00 AM    Dothan 911 dispatched a firearm assault at 1101 Ross Clark Circle, Shell Oil Station.

The call then changed to a stolen vehicle.

Dothan Police quickly issued a BOLO for a 2013 Ford Edge SUV, black in color with a license plate number issued. The suspect, a white male wearing gray over gray. The suspect was reported in possession of a firearm.

At 6:40 AM the suspect was spotted traveling east on Ross Clark Circle approaching East Main and Ross Clark Circle.

Dothan Police spotted the vehicle and conducted a FELONY traffic stop. A white male matching the description was taken into custody. 

Dothan Criminal Investigators instructed officers to clear the vehicle but directed not to touch the vehicle.

Dothan Patrol Division and Criminal Investigators are working to get all the information to determine the "exact" facts. One suspect is in custody at this time.

The victim was getting gas. The suspect approached the victim, armed with a weapon. The suspect did fire some shots before stealing the vehicle.

There were no injuries.
