DOTHAN:    2:00 PM    Dothan 911 dispatched Police - Fire - EMS to Lighouse Drive off Flowers Chapel Road to a firearm assault.

The victm is young and the suspect is the brother of the victim.

Dothan Police responding to clear the scene befoer Fire and EMS arrive.

Dothan Police arrived on the scene of Lighhouse Drive and unable to locate the victim. Dothan Officers have checked the schools and both hospitals. As of this writing the victim has not been located.

Dothan Police Officers have been unable to locate any victim at this time. Looks like a prank call at this time.

This call, if you were in the area of Flowers Chapel Road around 2:00 PM, Dothan Police units were scrambling, in a major scramble, to get to the scene.  The prank call to Dothan Police Department was a 9 year old suffering a gunshot would to the head by his brother, and the father was to emotionally upset to return inside the house. And his brother was the suspect and had fled the scene.

When Dothan Police arrived on the scene no one was found at the residence. Dothan 911 called the SRO of the school near the scene with the information and name. Not sure but I think they said no student by that name.

Dothan Police Officers scrambled to Flowers Hospital and Southeast Health. The suspect was a black male and at Southeast Health they found a white male who had just arrived on with a self inflicted accidental gunshot wound to the hand.

Dothan Fire and EMS were staged for officers to declare the scene safe. Officers checked every possibility imaginable in an effort to very and locate the victim, father or suspect. NO trace of anything.
