KINSEY:     8:30 AM    Yesterday Kinsey Mayor Charles Douglas attempted to contact me. We never connected.


This morning I have received two phone calls concerning a town hall meeting at the Kinsey Senior Citizens Center. According to the callers the meeting is concerning a garbage transfer station proposed on Headland Avenue on the Botanical Gardens side of Highway 431. The site, as per the caller, is the current woodyard, the former Goober Drive In.


Attempted to reach Kinsey Mayor Charles Douglas. We are playing phone tag. WANT TO BE CLEAR he reached out to me yesterday and we missed each other. So he is not avoiding me.


As soon as more information is available we will update.

The meeting is 6 PM tonight not 7.


MDI has filed a request for some type garbage transfer station.
