DALE COUNTY: 12:44 AM. OZARK - DALE COUNTY 911 searching for a firearm assault victim.
The scene is located at 5530 County Road 33 in Ozark. It is believed that this is in the area of G.W. long High School.
Reports to 911 are that one person has been shot in the stomach.
Dale County Sheriff Deputies are set up at G.W. Long Baseball field. Survival Flight is preparing to land in the parking lot of G.W. Long High School.
Echo Fire - EMS have loaded the patient and transporting to the school to meet Survival Flight.
Dale County Sheriff / Dothan Police Aviation Unit is going airborne to search for evidence and/or suspects in the firearm assault.

SURVIVAL FLIGHT has landed at G.W. Long High School. They are working with ECHO Fire - EMS with the patient.
Dale County Sheriff Wally Olson is on the scene.

Dale County Sheriff Chief Deputy Mason Bynum has requested Ozark - Dale County 911 to check with the prisons to see if their K-9 track dogs are available.

The suspect is in custody. The suspect and the victim are related.
The suspect is charged with Assault in the first degree at this time And currently in the Dale County Jail.
’The victim was in surgery At 5 AM..
Dale County Sheriff Criminal Investigators are continuing their investigation.
The suspect, according to the Dale County Sheriff web page, is identified as Homer Coleman.
