HOUSTON COUNTY: Houston County Sheriff 911 dispatched multiple VOLUNTEER Fire Departments and deputies to Gordon about 4:50 AM this morning.
A man called his wife that he needed some help and had wrecked on his four wheeler off Highway 95 near Lamp Road north of Gordon.
Multiple volunteer fire departments, Gordon-Pansey and Columbia rolled searching for the four wheeler rider.
Houston County 911 dispatchers Haisten and Kristin did a outstanding job in managing the operation. The man finally was able to make a 911 call and they were able to search his location. That is what the final clue was to locating the man.
Haisten and Kristen had already launched LIFEFLIGHT to the area.
While this incident was intense for those in the field it was more intense for Haisten and Kristin because they were doing all that was possible in searching for a locating the victim.
Based on their dedicated and hard work the victim was finally located. The four wheeler accident victim was finally located. He was placed in the helicopter and transported to a Dothan hospital.
Reports are he is in critical condition.

ALEA - State Troopers issued a press release concerning this ATV accident.
A one vehicle crash at approximately 4:45 AM on Saturday, May 18, 2019 has claimed the life of an Ashford man, Corey James Dunn, age 52. He was killed when the ATV he was operating left the roadway and struck a ditch.
Dunn was airlifted from the scene to Southeast Health, where he later died due to injuries sustained in the crash.
The crash occurred on East Cook Road app. 3 miles east of Ashford.
