DOTHAN: At 5:37 PM... Dothan Fire and Dothan Police responded to a shooting at the Dollar General on West Selma. The suspect is a light skinned black male last seen heading West on Selma Street.
The victim was inside the store when they were shot through the store window. The victim was transported to the hospital with what appeared to be non life threatening injuries.
Houston County Sheriff's Office also responded to assist Dothan Police.

The suspected shooter in this firearm assault is now in custody in Eufaula. Dothan Police Criminal Investigator Sgt. Jason Adkins is traveling to Eufaula at this time.
Dothan Police quickly developed a suspect in this case and immediately began working leads to safely take the suspect in custody.
The suspect is identified as Howard Grant. He was reported to have been driving a grey Dodge Neon.
Barbour County Sheriff Department has the suspect in custody and Sgt. Adkins is on the way.
