DOTHAN: 9:02 PM. Dothan 911 dispatched DOTHAN Fire to Red Carpet Inn on Ross Clark Circle to a structure fire.
Reports were flames visible from the rear of the motel.
Several rooms were affected by the fire. Dothan Fire checked several rooms
making sure the occupants were all accounted for.
Multiple DOTHAN Fire engines on the scene.

Dothan Fire was dispatched at 8:45 PM. At 9:16 PM Dothan Fire was still in an offensive mode fighting the fire at 9:16 PM.
Dothan Fire units inside the structure reported to command a lot of water has been dropped on the floor and continues to flow the the water needed to be cut off. Red Carpet Inn maintenance units are on the scene assisting the fire departments.
At 9:19 PM Dothan Fire Command is returning a fire engine to service and pulling up one supply line but leaving attack line in place. Dothan Fire leaving ventilation in place.
At 9:20 PM Dothan Fire Command has reported "under control" at this time. Dothan Fire Prevention ( Investigators ) are on the scene.
