HOUSTON COUNTY - BAY SPRINGS/WICKSBURG:      06:52 AM.    Houston County 911 dispatched a critical injury wreck, Highway 84 West and County Road 9.

Reports to Houston County 911 a passenger car verses a semi, rear end crash.

Houston County 911 dispatched Houston County Sheriff Deputies, Wicksburg EMS, and Bay Springs Volunteer Fire along with ALEA - Troopers.

Houston County Sheriff Captain James Ivey was first on the scene. Captain Ivey reported the accident was west of the County Road 9 intersection on Highway 84.

Wicksburg EMS arrived at 7:08 AM. Reports were the male driver of the car was conscious but appeared confused.

The injuries are not reported to be life threatening.

ALEA Troopers are in charge of the accident investigation.

The driver of the car was taken to the hospital by Wicksburg Rescue. He was awake and talking to EMT's.
