UPDATED at 10:00 PM.. Midland City Police in Pursuit

DALE- HOUSTON COUNTIES: At 9:46 PM...Midland City Police just called out with a vehicle pursuit on Denton Road. The vehicle is a gold mercedes just turned left on Oak Dale Circle. The reason for the pursuit is failure to stop for no tag.

The pursuit is now on Westgate heading to Montgomery Hwy. Midland City Police is in pursuit and Dothan and Houston County Sheriff Units are responding to catch up to the pursuit.

The vehicle just turned left on Whatley heading towards the Circle. The pursuit is on the Circle heading towards West Main. The driver is driving on the wrong side of the circle. The driver just took a left on Forrest and a right Blumberg crossing Kent Drive and now a right on Pinetree.

The driver has now turned left on main street heading East now on Right onto bracewell. Speeds are around 30 to 40 miles an hour. Dothan Police is backing off due to they can not pursue any vehicles so it's now up to the county to stop the vehicle.

The vehicle is turning left on stonewood Drive just turned right on Fortner appoching Woodland. 

This entire pursuit is for failing to stop when Midland City pulled the car over for no tag. The pursuit is now in neighborhoods. the vehicle has wrecked out at Woods Drive and Naomi. Houston County Sheriff's Deputies have used a pit maneuver to end the pursuit

Now officers are in foot pursuit of the driver running Southbound on South Park.

One subject is in custody. It's not clear if the vehicle was stolen.

AT 10:04 PM... Houston County Deputies have requested Dothan Fire respond reference to one subject with pain in his belly.

One other person has fled the scene.

Two persons actually taken into custody. One person fled on foot. The vehicle went to make a wide turn onto South Park from Woods Drive and struck a tree. The subjects had a dog and ALEA-Trooper was holding the dog so it would not get lost and homeless after the suspect(s) were taken into custody.

The Silver Mercedes, a older one, had no license plates on it.

Dothan Fire responded non-emergency to South Park and Woods Drive to check one person in the accident who was complaining of stomach ache.

Probably got to thinking of his news home, and he might not be home for Christmas!

THE EMERGENCIES FLOW IN - THEY DO NOT STOP   

From this call - Houston County Sheriff 911 dispatches deputies to a disorderly juvenile. Nothing to do with the chase a different call all together.

Then Houston County Sheriff 911 dispatches deputies, Columbia Police supported by Webb Police and Columbia EMS to a medical emergency in Columbia. Patient not breathing, Dothan Fire Engine 5 ( Eastside ) responding mutual aid assist.

Dothan Fire is then dispatched to a "person down" call, which is someone the appears unconscious in a vehicle, in the turn lane on Murphy Mill Road and Montgomery Highway.

And all of this by 10:32 PM.

The "person down", nothing with the chase, no transport. A police matter only and call turned over to the police.
