UPDATED at 10:06 PM.. Structure Fire at Vaughn Towers

DOTHAN:  At 10:00 PM... Multiple Dothan Fire units responded to a report of a structure fire at Vaughn Towers. The first unit on scene advised nothing visible. Engine 1 advised strobes flashing on 2nd floor. Battalion Chief Ash has command.


Engine 1 and Truck 1 are heading to the second floor to check for any fire. Reports are the smoke is from cooking.


Dothan Police responded along with an ambulance. The road the fire is located on is closed due to emergency equipment blocking the road.


UPDATED @ 10:06 PM..


Engine 1 advised no fire just burnt food on the stove. Engine 1 advised all other responding units could disregard and return to service.
