DOTHAN: 10:03 PM... Multiple Dothan Fire units responded to a report of a structure fire at 3010 Lasalle Drive. The first unit on scene advised fully involved working structure fire. Command has advised defensive attack only at this time. The structure is to fully involved in heavy fire to make entry.
Reports are no one was inside. Firefighters are having to extend the hose-lines (more than 200ft of hose) to reach the fire.
Dothan Police responded along with an ambulance. The road the fire is located on is closed due to emergency equipment and supply line blocking the road.

Command has advised they are now going to change from Defensive to offensive mode which means firefighters are now making entry into the home to fight the fire.
Rickey Stokes is live on the scene (on his personal vehicle and off duty from EMA). Firefighters are making some progress in battling the fire. On Call Fire Marshal has been requested to respond to the scene as well as Dothan Utilities.
Command has now issued everyone out of the structure. You will see in our video flames shooting out the roof line of the structure and it to dangerous to put any firefighters inside the structure. Flames are shooting about 30 feet in the air. Firefighters are doing all they can to get the fire under control.
The home was up for sale but now is burning. The home is reported to be vacant.

Fire attack is advising they have fire knock down ( Which means most if not all the fire has been extinguished) some forty minutes after being dispatched. Fire department duty officer (Todd Phillips) and Fire Chief (Larry Williams) are on the scene .
