PANSEY: 7:04 PM. Houston County Sheriff 911 dispatched a critical motor vehicle accident on Highway 84 East and County Road 75.
One vehicle accident, vehicle verses telephone pole. There are power lines all across Highway 84 East and County Road 75.
Ashford Rescue has asked Houston County Sheriff 911 to have Alabama Power respond ASAP in order to have access to the patient because of the downed lines.
Ashford Rescue, Ashford Police, Pansey Fire, Houston County Sheriff Department and ALEA-Troopers are in the scene.
At 7:10 PM. Ashford Rescue on the scene has called for another ambulance to take back roads to get East of the accident scene and go west to the scene to reach the patient.
The ambulance is blocked traveling East.
Pansey Fire said they can not reach the scene on the backroads because of a ditch.
It is almost impossible for emergency crews to get estimated times of arrival
from Alabama Power.

The victim was load into a pickup truck and was brought to the ambulance to transport to the hospital.

Gordon Police Chief Jim Mock took off a few minutes to take his wife out to dinner. As they were traveling home they came up on the motor vehicle accident. Chief Mock was on his personal vehicle.
Chief Mock crossed the power lines and went to the victim to check on them. A case of checking the patient over his safety.
Chief Mock then had Matt Boster of RSN drive his truck across the power lines to the victim's car. The patient was loaded on the back board onto Matt Boster's truck and drive to the ambulance.
The EMS group felt it was better then driving the ambulance across the power lines.
Ashford Rescue then transported the patient to a Dothan Hospital.
