GENEVA COUNTY, Ala. (WDHN) — On Thursday, April 8, Holmes County Sheriff’s Office investigators were contacted by Geneva Police Department investigators who stated they had received information that a missing person from their city was possibly buried on a piece of property in Holmes County.


HCSO investigators obtained a search warrant for a piece of property off Peak Rd.


On Friday, April 9, HCSO, along with Geneva Police Department, Geneva County Sheriff’s Office, FDLE, Alabama State Bureau of Investigation, the State Attorney Office and cadaver dogs from Bay County Sheriff’s Office, executed the search warrant in an effort to locate the grave site.
