UPDATED at 2:50 PM.. Houston County Sheriff Deputies Trying To Talk A Person Out Who Is Threatening Suicide

HOUSTON COUNTY:   9:03 AM    Houston County Sheriff 911 has dispatched multiple Deputies to Acorn Valley Road in Cottonwood to a person making threats of suicide.

Reports are a female who has been  missing most of the night has been located under a mobile home type trailer on Accorn Valley Road at Cottonwood. Reports are she is armed with a firearm and a box blade cutter knife.

Multiple Sheriff Deputies and SWAT Team Deputies have responded and attempting to talk her from under the trailer.

Cottonwood Rescue is staging nearby in case they are needed.

So all of the Sheriff Units running lights and sirens on Oates Street and Cottonwood Road, that is where responding to.

Negotiations are still underway with the female, but so far she is still refusing to come out. Law enforcement has been to this address several time in the past. It is not clear how much longer this incident will continue so if you live in the area be alert.

The female is under a neighbor's house and not her home. The particular home she is under is not the location where law enforcement has been several times in the past. The home she is under is in no way associated with the female under it.

Cottonwood Rescue continues to stage near this location in the event they are needed to respond. 

Houston County Sheriff Deputies continue to attempt to talk the lady out without harm to herself or others.

The standoff in Cottonwood has come o an end with the female being taken into custody. Cottonwood Rescue has been requested to come into the scene to check out the female.
