UPDATED at 3:44 PM...Napier Field Police in Pursuit

DALE COUNTY: Around 3:00 PM... Napier Field Police attempted to stop a vehicle for unknown reason but the driver had other ideas. The driver took off and the officer gave chase.

The pursuit came down Murphy Mill to Brannon Stand and then Down South Brannon Stand to Trawick and back to Fortner and back on Brannon Stand. The officer lost sight of the vehicle that is an older model white Honda 2 door with orange wheels. Dothan Officers and Houston County Deputies responded to the area but the officer had already lost sight if the vehicle.

The driver is a Hispanic male last seen in the area of Fortner and Bay Springs.

Taylor Police have located the vehicle and are attempting to catch up to it. Speeds are well over 120 mph through out the pursuit.

Taylor Police and Houston County Deputies have caught the suspect on Gilley Road when the driver pulled in at Grandma's house and then when the deputies boxed him in the driver put the car in reverse and hit a deputy Tahoe. The driver and the deputy are okay.
