HOUSTON COUNTY:    3:36 PM     Houston County Sheriff Deputies are on the scene of a situation on the west side.

Due to the sensitivity of the situation we are not disclosing what or where at this time.

When you see units running lights and siren, unmarked new Silverado Chevrolet trucks running lights and siren going west, you will know what it is.

When we are sure the officers are not in danger by disclosing we will update.

The standoff is over and Houston County Sheriff's Deputies are going back in service. 

This afternoon Houston County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a report of a person making suicide threats on Searcy Road. 

The deputies staged at the old Ray Dean Auction.  

Reports are the person had access to a firearm. Multiple Deputies including Sheriff Valenza, Major Rafferty, Capt Aries and Capt Ivey were on the scene. 

Wicksburg Rescue was staged near by incase they were needed. 

We do NOT know what the out come was. Sheriff Officials have been instructed NOT to talk to all media and while the Sheriff was on scene he has not released any information at this time.
