UPDATED at 7:30 AM... Motor Vehicle Accident at South Oates and Alabaster Drive

DOTHAN: At 6:25 PM... Dothan Police and Dothan Fire responded to a motor vehicle accident at South Oates and Alabaster Drive. The accident involved two vehicles one with heavy damage. The accident was a T-Bone Type accident.
One person was transported to the hospital by ambulance with a Trauma Alert. The patient was in serious condition when they left the scene.
The accident is under investigation by the Dothan Police Department Crash Team. South Oates at Alabaster Drive is down to one lane due to the accident.
Due to the nature of the injuries we are with all scene photos at this time.
UPDATED @ 7:30 AM...
We have learned that the driver that was transported to hospital has died as a result of the accident.
