UPDATED at 8:45 PM... 8:00 PM... Firearm Assault on Meadows Road

HOUSTON COUNTY: At 8:00 PM.. Ashford Police and Houston County Deputies are responding to a firearm assault on Meadow Drive. Ashford Police advised that victim was enroute to the hospital with a GSW to the chest X 3.  

Ashford Police and Deputies are looking for suspect last seen in a white Tahoe last seen fleeing the scene.

Law Enforcement knows who the suspect is and are actively looking for him.

Deputies are en-route to the hospital to meet with the victim and others on the way to the hospital.

Dothan Police and Dothan Fire are attempting to intercept the vehicle transporting the victim.

"Unconfirmed" reports re the victim was standing in his yard when the suspect pulled up and shot him.

Houston County Deputies now have two detained at a home down the road from the crime scene.

Sheriff Valenza and his Command Staff are on the scene.
