HOUSTON COUNTY: At 8:32 PM... Ashford Police attempting to stop a vehicle and the driver took off. Ashford Police are in pursuit with the vehicle on County 55 heading backs towards Ashford.


Houston County Deputies are heading to Ashford to assist the Ashford Police. The driver running on the rims has pulled into a peanut field off Broadway.


Two suspects have fled on foot into the woods Ashford Police has request a K-9 to track the suspect. The suspects are two whites males, one had no shirt and blue jeans and a ball cap.

Deputies have set up a perimeter between the peanut field and AMX. Police units from Cottonwood and Kinsey have responded to assist the Ashford Officer. 


Both the suspects have fled into the woods in the back of the peanut field across from the Coop. Ashford Police has went in service and is responding to the Ashford Officers location.

Ashford Police, Cottonwood Police, Kinsey Police and Houston County Sheriff Deputies have the vehicle and know who the suspects are. The vehicle is being towed and impounded by Ashford Police. The suspect so far have made a clean get away, but will be picked up later.
