Vehicle Recovered from Sand Pond near Lake Seminole

JACKSON COUNY :On Wednesday, Feb. 1, the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office received a call from a fisherman who saw what appeared to be a vehicle on his depth finder in Sand Pond near Lake Seminole. The JCSO Dive Unit responded and quickly located a 2011 GMC Denali about 12 feet underwater. After the vehicle was recovered, it was determined to have been stolen from the Sneads area in 2018.


The investigation into the stolen vehicle is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office at (850) 482-9624.
