Wisconsin Firefighter Killed At EMS Scene

APPLETON WISCONSIN:   An a 14-year veteran of the Appleton Fire Department was shot and killed while working at a medical emergency scene at a downtown bus transit center. A police officer and two other people were also shot and wounded. The name of the fallen firefighter had not been released as of Thursday morning.


According to local television station WBAY Action 2 News, reported that police and fire personnel responded to a reported medical call at the bus station at about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday night when the shooting occurred.
