BAHAMAS WITH LINKS TO HOUSTON COUNTY:   Georgia wife of former college football star Lindsay Shiver, age 36, is accused of conspiring with Bahamian lover and “hit man” to murder him.


A former cheerleader was named Miss Houston County in 2005 and finished second in the Miss National Peanut Festival pageant.


Shiver, her alleged boyfriend and “hitman” are being held in jail in the Bahamas until they return to court on October 5.
