WOMAN ARRESTED ON FELONY WARRANT FACING CONTRABAND CHARGE

WASHINGTON COUNTY, FL; A Washington County woman arrested on a felony warrant out of Colorado, is facing additional charges for the introduction of contraband into the Washington County Jail.
Last night, Washington County Sheriff’s deputies witness two subjects with flashlights walking around the perimeter of an abandoned residence on Hard Labor Rd. Deputies make contact and identified is 63-year-old, Sheila Anita Bourkard of Vernon.
Bourkard claims she was at the residence in an attempt to retrieve items she left when she lived there. A quick check of information confirmed Bourkard had an active felony warrant out of Colorado for contempt of court on drug charges. Boukard was taken into custody on the warrant. Deputies asked Boukard if she was in possession of any illegal items. Bourkard admitted to deputies she had Xanax in her pocket but denied being in possession of any other illegal items.
Boukard was transported to the Washington County Jail. During intake, detention deputies found her to be in possession of two small glass vials, methamphetamine and marijuana.
Bourkard was booked on the charges of introduction of contraband into a detention facility, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance x2.
