DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — The Dothan Police Department arrested a man Saturday in a theft investigation involving Dothan’s Rural King.
A DPD release states that Andrew Borener, 28, of Dothan is suspected of going to the business and stealing two lawnmowers, a Husqvarna zero turn lawn mower and a Bad Boy brand zero turn lawn mower, on two different occasions. The thefts happened after hours some between Oct. 10 and Oct. 16.
Police identified Borener as the suspect after he completed a job application to be employed at Rural King.
He now faces two counts of first-degree theft of property with bonds totaling $60,000. More charges may be forthcoming.
