EUFAULA - DOTHAN: 12:00 MIDNIGHT - Eufaula Police Department were able to locate two persons sought by Dothan Police Department in a recent murder.
Dothan Police Department issued a BOLO ( Be On Look Out ) for 31 year old Richard Bishop, Jr. and 33 year old Courtney Ingram.
The duo were wanted in connection to the murder of 54 year old Patrick Parrish. Parrish was found on May 8, 2024 dead at 1300 block of Coe Dairy Road.
Dothan Police responded to the 1300 block of Coe Dairy Road to conduct a welfare check on Patrick Patrick after he had not been heard from for a period of time. When Dothan Police Officers arrived they smelled a foul odor. Parrish body was found under the house.
Dothan Criminal Investigators and Dothan Crime Scene Investigators were called to the residence on Coe Dairy Road. The body was ordered to the Alabama Department of Forensic Science for autopsy by 20th Judicial Circuit District Attorney Russ Goodman.
It was determined foul play was involved. The truck belonging to Parrish was missing. Dothan Police investigation revealed that Ingram and Bishop were seen on the truck. The truck was recovered in Eufaula.
Tonight Eufaula Police were able to locate both Bishop and Ingram where they were taken into custody. Dothan Police was notified and traveled to Eufaula and took custody of the duo. They were transported to Dothan City Jail.
Following questioning by Dothan Police Criminal Investigators the two are expected to be charged in the death of Parrish. At this time it is unknown if the charges will be murder or Capital Murder. If determined the truck of Parrish was actually stolen then it will most likely be Capital Murder, which is a death penalty offense and a no bond.
