COFFEE COUNTY - INO COMMUNITY: 01:42 AM. Coffee County 911 dispatched a motor vehicle accident on Coffee County 461 and County Road 471.
A second accident was dispatched shortly afterwards but they turned out to be the same accident.
At the time of dispatch the reports to Coffee County 911 the occupants were entrapped.
A person reporting to Coffee County 911 reported that she was leaving Pilgrim’s Pride and a vehicle struck a cow.
Responding to the accident, Enterprise Rescue, INO Volunteer Fire Department, Elba Fire Department, Coffee County Sheriff Department, and ALEA Troopers.
Air One from Enterprise Rescue was auto launched.
On arrival the responders reported a single vehicle accident, vehicle verses a cow. Reports are two patients, one patient unresponsive. Two ambulances from Enterprise Rescue responded. Air One with Enterprise Rescue was cancelled. The patients will be transported by ground ambulance.
It was determined there was only one accident.
ALEA - Troopers will be in charge of the accident investigation.
