GENEVA COUNTY:    08:57 AM SATURDAY MORNING - Geneva County Central Dispatched rolled multiple fire units and EMS to reports of a structure fire.

The call was at 8:57 AM on Saturday morning. Dispatched to the structure fire, Fadette Volunteer Fire, Malvern Volunteer Fire, Slocomb Fire and EMS.

The location was the 2200 block of Geneva County Road 28.

Slocomb Fire Operations Chief Brandon Hovey was on the scene within 3 minutes of the structure fire being dispatched. On arrival Operations Command reported a single story brick residential structure with heavy smoke coming from the garage.

The first fire engine company was on the scene within five ( 5 ) minutes of the dispatch from Geneva County Central. The fireman made a quick offensive attack limiting the fire from the rest of the house.
