DOTHAN:    05:50 AM      Dothan Police and Houston County Sheriff Department have closed the south bound lanes of Ross Clark Circle and South Oates and one east bound lane of traffic.

A semi truck hauling chickens lost a lot of live chickens from the cages in the intersection.

Workers from Wayne Farms had a pickup truck there and the workers were gathering chickens and loading them in the truck.

Two Dothan Police and two Houston County Sheriff Deputies were on the scene. Houston County Sheriff Lt. Robert Reichert was helping catch the chickens while the other deputy and two Dothan Police Officers watched.

Here a chick - there a chick, everywhere a chick!!!
