06:18 AM. Dothan Fire Had A Working Structure Fire On Bethlehem Road

DOTHAN: 05:14 AM. Dothan 911 dispatched Dothan Fire to a audible fire alarm at 5:14 AM at 1721 Bethlehem Road.
Bethlehem Road runs off Highway 605 North of Highway 84 at Brannon Stand.
At the time of the fire Dothan 911 reported to responding Dothan Fire Engine Companies smoke was visible from the garage.
On arrival this was announced this was a working structure fire and an offensive attack was made.
Dothan Fire Engine 8 ( Highlands ), Dothan Fire Engine 6 ( Napier Field Road ), Dothan Fire Engine 3 ( Westgate ), Dothan Fire Truck Engine Company ( Westgate ), Dothan Fire Rehab ( Lakewood - South Park ), Dothan Fire Battalion Chief Stephen Messer, Pilcher Ambulance and Dothan Police responded.
At 05:56 AM Dothan Fire Command ( Chief Messer ) declared fire was under control.
A Dothan Fire Prevention Officer was dispatched to the scene.
Dothan Fire units are beginning to roll up the heavy 5 inch water supply lines and reload the trucks to get them prepared for the 911 calls that have not happened yet and prepare to return to service. Dothan Fire changes shifts at 7 AM… it is 6:27 AM at this time.
When the tones dropped the fireman hit the floor and a rapid response and quick offensive attack.
06:28 AM Command Chief Messer announced to the Dothan 911 Center, “LOSS STOPPED”, which means fight over!
