KINSEY: 06:04 AM At 6:04 AM this morning Houston County Sheriff 911 dispatched Kinsey Volunteer Fire to a vehicle fire in the 200 block of Sanders Road.
At 6:06 AM Kinsey Volunteer Fireman Charles Reneau, a long time Kinsey Fire Chief, was enroute with wheels turning to the fire station to get the fire truck.
At 6:10 AM Kinsey Fire was on the scene of the vehicle fire and by 6:12 AM has "water on the fire".
Volunteers.... from home - to the fire station - unlock the fire station - crank the fire engine and on the scene in 6 minutes from the call being dispatched.
Kinsey Volunteer Fireman Chris Betsil was also on the scene with Fireman Charles Reneau. His son, Jason, is now the Kinsey Fire Chief.
