08:46 AM Semi Has Highway 231 Blocked In Montgomery County

MONTGOMERY:   08:46 AM     Since 8:30 AM the northbound traffic on Highway 231 has been at a stand still.

Finally at 8:46 AM I went into the median to see what was going on. A ALDOT truck with sand had the road blocked.

The man said further north a seni had gone off the road and into the trees. The wrecker had attempted to pull it out only closing one lane of traffic. That failed. So both lanes had to be closed and all northbound traffic is still at a complete stop.

So if traveling north expect delays. I have a 9 AM appointment in Montgomery. Looks like I will be late.
