ASHFORD:    06:49 AM.  Houston County 911 dispatched a motor vehicle accident at Highway 84 East and old Highway 84. This was the east end of Ashford.


The person reporting stated there was entrapment and reports a car on fire.


Ashford Police Larry Flowers, Ashford Fire and Ashford Rescue was requested. Ashford Rescue had to respond with two ambulances.


Ashford Fire performed extrication and removed the patient from the vehicle entrapped in.


Patients from both vehicles were transported by Ashford Rescue to a local hospital. The injuries are not believed to be life threatening.


Ashford called for ALEA - Troopers to respond. The scene was outside the city limits of Ashford. ALEA - Trooper Spencer Adkinson is in charge of the accident investigation.
