DALE COUNTY: Last evening in Dale County a single vehicle accident claimed one life.
A single vehicle accident on Highway 231 in Midland City. The accident occurred around 9 PM.
Dale County Coroner John Cawley was dispatched by Ozark - Dale County 911 to the scene and pronounced dead on the scene.
Dale County Coroner John Cawley identified the victim as 60 year old Phillip Smith dead on the scene. Mr. Smith was from the Sylvan Grove Community of Dale County.
Midland City Police is in charge of the accident investigation.
