DOTHAN:     09:38 AM    Dothan 911 dispatched Dothan Police, Dothan Fire and Pilcher Ambulance to 3205 South Oates Street, Zaxby's, to reports of a structure fire.

The initial reports to 911 were smoke and flames visible.

Dothan Fire Engine 4 ( Southside ) was first fire engine on the scene. They reported a single story commercial structure, nothing visible, and all incoming units go to Level 1 staging, and reported a fire hydrant in front of the business.

Level 1 staging is all units prepare for an offensive fire fight but not to connect to hydrant and lay hoses at this time.

Dothan Fire Engine 4 investigated. There was no fire, it was an electrical outlet. Dothan Fire Engine 4 isolated the breaker and cut it off, instructed employees to leave off and electrician was enroute at this time. All units returned to service.

AT THE SAME TIME OF THIS CALL 

DOTHAN: 09:39 AM  A medical emergency was dispatched at 114 North Oates Street, second floor, Houston County Courthouse. A person outside the courtroom at the elevators complaining of chest pains.

Dothan Fire Engine 5 ( Eastside ) originally dispatched to the structure fire at 3205 South Oates was re-routed to the medical emergency.
