GENEVA COUNTY - SLOCOMB AREA:    09:06 AM   Geneva County 911 dispatched Geneva County Sheriff Deputies, Slocomb Police, Slocomb Fire - Rescue to a firearm assault victim.


A subject was found under a vehicle inthe 200 block of JHARRIS Highway under a car. Reports are the subject was shot in the leg in an altercation that occurred last night.


Slocomb Rescue transported to firearm assault victim, emergency - trauma alert to Southeast Health in Dothan. A Geneva County Sheriff Deputy went to Southeast Health while another went to the scene.


At 09:56 AM Geneva County Sheriff Deputies have just stopped a vehicle which the suspect might be in. Two deputies are out with the possible suspect at this time.


Geneva County Sheriff Department are in charge of the investigation.

The Geneva County Sheriff Deputy has suspect detained in the back of the Sheriff Department vehicle and returning to the scene.
