HENRY COUNTY: A late afternoon accident during the rain has claimed one life.
Henry County 911 dispatched Abbeville Rescue, Henry County Sheriff Department, Abbeville Police Department and Henry County Sheriff Eric Blankenship to a motor vehicle accident.
The accident location was Highway 431 and Henry County Road 41.
ALEA - Troopers were dispatched also.
The accident was a single vehicle accident. The accident occurred during the rain. There was one person in the vehicle which was ejected.
The patient was transported, emergency, trauma alert by Abbeville Rescue.
Sheriff Blankenship and members of Henry County Sheriff Department were on the scene until after 8 PM tonight.
ALEA Troopers are in charge of the accident investigation. Withholding scene pictures until confirmation all family is notified.
