BONIFAY FL:     Someone in Bonifay Florida has apparently fell off the turnip truck and busted his head.

First, congratulations to former Bonifay Mayor Emily McCann. While I do not know who is right and wrong, life is way to short to put up with a bunch idiots. While I have not attended the meetings it sounds in the reports are you were surrounded by a bunch of idiots.

Next, Bonifay Interim Mayor Larry Cook needs some guidance. First, Mr. Cook, while you do have to keep order in the meetings you need to understand Bonifay is NOT YOUR TOWN. It is a town you live in and elected to manage and move forward. And from reading the articles you are removing people from the council meetings who wish to talk.

These people are going to talk. Now you can listen in the meeting or they will get your attention outside of the meetings. And those meetings you will not like. And from your terminating the Police Chief, looks like you might very well be on your own.

So you best get a handle on your attitude. Because if you continue to treat these people as reported, understand, they will get your attention.

Those elected to office are not gods. You are public servants elected and placed in positions to serve the people and make decisions best for your community. And it appears you are on a power trip.

So I would suggest you humble yourself, be respectful to the citizens or if you continue down the path as reported, you might want to contact a moving company and find somewhere else to locate. Because what I know of the people of Holmes County, they will not tolerate you long. And that long is perhaps one more meeting, like less than 30 minutes long.

Your actions in Bonifay Florida are an embarrassment to the citizens and registered voters of Bonifay Florida and to the citizens of Holmes County Florida.

Straighten it up or get out!
