WIREGRASS AREA:     Over the last hour, plus or minus, the Wiregrass area has gone slap crazy.


#1:    Dale County Sheriff Department on the scene of a murder on Dale County Road 67. Dale County Sheriff Mason Bynum, Dale County Coroner John Cawley, 33rd Judicial Circuit District Attorney Kirke Adams on the scene. Sometime around 8 PM.


#2:    An assault was reported in Dothan on Oleander Drive. Unknown what officers or EMS found on arrival. Somewhere around 9:00 PM.


#3:    A gunshot victim presented himself at the emergency department at Southeast Health arriving by private auto. UNCONFIRMED, the victim has stated an accidental, self inflicted firearm injury. Dothan Police investigating. Somewhere around 10:00 PM.


#4:   A firearm assault in Henry County on Henry County Road 225 at Bethlehem. Henry County Sheriff Eric Blankenship, Henry County Sheriff Deputies, EMS on the scene. Unknown the condition of the victim at this time. Somewhere around 10:00 PM


#5:   Houston County Sheriff Deputies are on the scene of a call where Houston County Sheriff Deputies were forced to deploy their tazer on a person. Cottonwood Rescue was dispatched and on the scene checking the patient at this time. At this time unknown the reason for the call for law enforcement to be on the scene. Somewhere around 10:30 PM.
