DALE COUNTY - ARITON: 10:42 PM Ozark - Dale County 911 dispatched Dale County Sheriff Deputies and ALEA - Troopers to a motor vehicle accident on Highway 231 and Highway 123 at Ariton.
At the time of dispatch the persons reporting to Ozark - Dale County 911 reported a two vehicle accident, unknown injuries.
As 911 calls began to roll in Ozark - Dale County 911 reported to responding emergency units more reports state multiple injuries and possible additional vehicles.
Ozark - Dale County 911 has launched a EMS Helicopter. Emergency units are still responding and a landing zone will be established as emergency units arrive.
Unknown if Ariton still has a ambulance or what EMS Service covers that territory.
ALEA - Troopers will be responsible for the accident investigation.
