10:53 PM. Danny Barefoot Passes From COVID

HOUSTON COUNTY:    10:53 PM.   My good friend Danny Barefoot of the Hodgesville Community passed away late this afternoon in a Dothan Hospital with COVID.

Danny’s daughter, Marcie Jenkins ( Haisten Jenkins wife ) and son Dan Barefoot announced on Facebook earlier this evening.

In the announcement Marcie and Dan will be at Danny’s home on Monday for anyone wishing to see or contact them. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

Danny Barefoot attended both Memphis Baptist Church and currently Hodgesville Baptist Church. He could make the organ and piano do some wonderful and unbelievable things when he played. Made you want to stand, shout and jump the pews when Danny was playing.

When my phone rang and it was Danny there was always something interesting.

PRAYERS are with the family. Haisten lost his brother a few weeks ago. A lot has hit their plates recently and will ask everyone to say a prayer for all of the family but especially Marcie and Haisten.
