11:00 PM Houston County Sheriff Chase Ends at Reeves and Oates

DOTHAN - HOUSTON COUNTY:    11:00 PM    Houston County Sheriff Deputies activated this blue lights and siren in an effort to stop a vehicle.

Not the one "under" the blue lights but the one "in front of" the blue lights made the decisdion to run and not stop.

A chase took place.

Multiple Houston County Sheriff Deputies, Dothan Police and ALEA - Troopers were in the chase. The chase traveled through Dothan.

At about 11:07 PM Dothan Fire was dispatched to Reeves Street and Montgomery Highway. A red truck and Houston County Sheriff Deputy had a "intimate" encounter when the Houston County Sheriff Deputy "pit" the vehicle and ended the chase.

Multiple agencies have trained their law enforcement officers on pit manuevers. The agencies, to include but not limited to Dothan Police and Houston County Sheriff Department, have undergone extensive pit training. The purpose is to end the chase as soon as possible as to protect the motoring public, the law enforcement and the person(s) who made the STUPID decision to run and not stop.

You can fight the crime but the stop you can not fight. So just STOP because the agencies in Dothan - Houston County - Henry County - Dale County - ALEA, they are going to stop you.

Dothan Fire Paramedics treated the stupid person who ran. The person who ran has a vehicle tore up. Houston County has a Tahoe tore up. When it was very simple to just stop.
