CLIO ALABAMA:    11:00 AM   Ozark - Dale County 911 has dispatched ECHO Rescue to Easterling Prison in Clio ( Barbour County ) to a stabbing.


Reports are a 41 males subject has received a stab wound to the right side.


It is a frequent occurrence to Easterling for inmates to be stabbed.


The Alabama Department of Corrections are under federal mandates and lawsuits, as well as oversight from the Department of Justice concerning overcrowding in the prisons. It is a simple thing to solve and would not cost near the money proposed by those in leadership.


But to solve it those in charge would need to use common sense and think outside of the box. Something that is not required.
