GENEVA COUNTY:     UPDATE to a January 15, 2023 article "Two Sent To Hospital In Geneva County Following An Explosion".


There were two victims to the fire explosion. One was airlifted directly from the scene to Mobile. The second victim was transported to Wiregrass Hospital and then airlifted to Mobile.


One person remains in critical condition from burns.


In the original article it stated they poured gasoline on the fire. Family contacted me today and that is not the case. There was a gas can near which did explode but they two men did not pour gasline on the fire.


Please keep these two men in your prayers along with their family. The family wishes to express their tanks to all of the emergency responders - Black Volunteer Fire Department, Hartford Fire - Rescue and the helicopter medical unit.
