DOTHAN - Dothan 911 dispatched Dothan Police Dothan Fire and Pilchers to a minor vehicle accident at the 1400 Block of South Oates. 

Pilchers Ambulance transported one patient to a Dothan Hospital.

Twenty minutes after the initial call another call came in to Dothan 911 advising a vehicle verse power pole in the 2700 block of S. Oates. After no accident was found at that location, the caller advised it was in the 2700 block of Ross Clark Circle. 

Multiple Dothan Fire Engines, Dothan Police Officers and Pilchers Ambulance were responding attempting to locate the accident. 

Dothan Communications once again contacted the caller who called in the accident to finally figure out it was the original accident in the 1400 block of S. Oates. 

This is not to fault the 911 dispatchers one bit. They can only relay what they are told from the caller. But please when calling 911 know your location and the closest address to the incident so this will assist the dispatchers in getting the correct resources to the scene the fastest. 

There is a power outage dur to the vehicle accident on S. Oates around the Dothan Prep area. Dothan Utilities are aware and working to correct the issue as soon as possible.
