DOTHAN: 10:55 PM. Dothan 911 dispatched a structure fire at 107 Newberry Lane, which runs off East Newton Street.
Reports to Dothan 911 flames from trailer.
Four minutes, 10:59 PM, after dispatch the primary fire engine company arrived and reported a single story residential structure with fire coming from the back. At 11:00 PM Truck 1 from Central arrived as did Battalion Chief Ash.
Chief ASh assumed command announcing to all units to use caution as entering that Newberry Lane was a dead end street so arriving and strategically place engines to allow entrance/exit to the scene.
At 11:01 PM the primary engine company, which was making an offensive attack, and had reached the rear of the residence announced a RV was on fire, the residence was not on fire, and water was on the fire.
Dothan Fire Engine 5 ( Eastside ) arrived at 11:01 PM.
At 11:06 PM Chief Ash announced all was under control and began releasing some units back in service. Chief Ash requested a Dothan Fire Investigator be dispatched.
All under control within 11 minutes of the 911 call hitting Dothan Police 911 Center.
