HOUSTON COUNTY: Cottonwood Fire and Cottonwood Rescue responded to a report of a outdoor fire at 1496 Fletcher Smith Road. Cottonwood Police and Houston County Sheriff's Office also responded to the incident.
Deputy arrived on scene advised a shed was fully involved and the fire was spreading in the grass.
Cottonwood Fire arrived and quickly knocked down the shed fire and stopped the spreading of the fire. The incident is under investigation.
The male resident is being treated by Cottonwood Rescue for burns to his hands.
