HEADLAND - HENRY COUNTY:     11:43 AM    This morning the Alabama Drug Task Force along with the Henry County Sheriff Department made a surprise FLASH entrance on MLK in Headland.


The combined agency executed a search warrant, on going at 11:42 AM, of a residence. The Henry County Sheriff SWAT Team joined the Alabama Drug Task Force and Henry County Sheriff Deputies.


The SWAT Team threw flash banks on the entrance. Those are designed to alarm and startle on the entrance in a surprise arrival. Some have text thinking there was a firearm assault but there is not.


Some streets in the area are blocked off as the search is ongoing.


Henry County Sheriff Eric Blankenship is on the scene.
