DOTHAN: 11:58 AM Dothan 911 dispatched a structure fire at 2315 Cottonwood Road.
Pilcher Ambulance and Dothan Police were first on the scene. Retired Dothan Fireman Stacy McArdle was on Pilcher Ambulance and reported smoke visible from the front door.
Dothan Fire Engine 4 ( Southside ), Engine 2 ( Lakewood ) and Engine 5 ( Eastside ), Battalion Chief Ash, Rehab Truck were on the scene shortly after Pilcher Ambulance and Dothan Police.
Dothan Fire made a quick offensive entry attack. The fire was in the kitchen. The fire was quickly under control, power disconnected from the stove and fire engines began to be released except for Engine 4. The residence was ventilated.
